Charles Stabolepszy

Elder

I reside in Tunbridge with my wife Judy, and we have been married since 1996. I am an avid outdoorsman and have always had an attraction to the natural world since childhood. This has led to a lifelong career as a forester and I travel throughout New England managing forestland. While the evidence for God was always before me in nature, it wasn’t until I had a personal encounter with God through his word in Romans that I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. That encounter also occurred in 1996 just weeks after Judy had professed saving faith, and we were married several months later. I started serving as an elder at Red Door Church in 2024, and it is a great honor to serve this congregation. My personality resonates with Peter and one of my favorite passages in the Bible is John 6:68-69: Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, and we have believed, and have come to know, that you are the Holy One of God.”

I don’t claim to be much in the eyes of the world. I have no college degree, can’t claim fame or fortune, and I’ve written no books on the New York Time’s best seller list. However, I am happy to be the wife of my pastor and a mother of four children. I am a woman who deeply loves the word of God and seeing God receive All the glory. I am a regular southern gal who has tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord in her time. I live by the grace and kindness of the Lord Jesus… and coffee! He is my only boast and I have set all of my hope on the day of His return!
