Ever Ancient, Ever New
Join us for 15 weeks of church history! Starting with the age of the apostles we will look across the centuries at the decline and revival of the church. As we look at the past we will learn more about our present circumstances. Most importantly of all, as we study history we will see more of God’s faithfulness and find encouragement to persevere as we see Christ building his Church through the most difficult and impossible circumstances.

What? This class will survey church history from the time of the apostles through the 21st century.
When? February 20 through June 5, 2025, Thursdays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. (Includes one break week on April 17).
Where? Red Door Church, 67 S. Windsor Street, South Royalton, VT 05068. We will also have a virtual option available for those who register and pay the class fee (below).
How Much? $25. The course fee includes a three-ring binder with syllabus, class outline, and weekly notes pages. We will use Earle Cairns’ Christianity Through the Centuries (3rd Edition), as our primary text for the material. We have already purchased the books. Students can rent a textbook for $5 or purchase a used one from us for $15 (this is the average cost for the used textbooks we have purchased). We will hand out books on the first day of class. If you are planning on participating virtually, please try and attend the first lecture to obtain your textbook, otherwise, please make special arrangements by emailing us at office@reddoorchurchofsoro.org.
